Strathclyde University Chamber Choir
As a choir, we have been entertaining audiences for over 30 years. Founded in 1980 by Alan Tavener, the choir has continued to flourish under his leadership ever since.
Although an amateur choir, we pride ourselves on the quality of our performances and the range of music that we perform. As a result, we have premiered commissions by a number of composers, including James MacMillan and, most recently, Toby Young. We have also participated in BBC Radio 3’s ‘Adopt a Composer’ scheme.
